Located just outside the historic South Devon town of Totnes, we sit perfectly between rolling countryside and the sun-soaked beaches of the English Riviera. Few places allow you to wake up next to a friendly alpaca herd—it’s a magical experience you’ll love. Our Story & Unique Stays Gatcombe Park Farm is our family home and a working alpaca stud. We decided to share this peaceful location by opening our curated glamping and camping site in 2020. Our options are designed for comfort and character: The Showman’s Circus Wagon: A beautifully restored, modernized "tiny home" featuring a spacious living area and scenic outdoor decking. Tipi & Bell Tents: Nestled in paddocks near a landscaped pond with far-reaching views. Spacious Pitches: Perfect for those bringing their own setups. On-Site Amenities & Exploring Our south-facing field ensures you soak up the sun. Glamping units include a private barbecue, while all guests have access to well-equipped shared amenities. You don’t have to go far to find South Devon’s best spots: Food & Drink: Two popular country pubs are within a 10-minute walk. The River Dart: Located nearby at Dartington, perfect for wild swimming or kayaking. Totnes: A short drive leads to this vibrant town’s independent shops and cafés. The Coast: Stunning beaches are within a 30-minute drive. House Rules We welcome one well-behaved dog per booking, provided they are kept on a lead at all times to ensure our alpacas' safety. Please Note: We strictly do not allow fighting breeds on site.
