Muddy Creek

Muddy Creek

Set on a traditional New Forest commoning farm in the coastal village of Milford-on-Sea, Muddycreek Farm offers a relaxed back-to-basics camping experience with space, simplicity and a strong connection to the land.

Spread across 15 acres of open fields mostly surrounded by trees, pitches are unmarked, giving you the freedom to find your perfect corner — tucked by a hedge, out in the open, or with wide views across the fields.” There are no crowded rows or rigid layouts – just plenty of room to breathe, unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Guests often describe the atmosphere as “laid-back”, “friendly” and “refreshingly unfussy”.

As a working farm, Muddycreek is shaped by the rhythms of rural life. See our New Forest ponies and foals nearby, hear birdsong in the mornings, and experience a quieter, more natural way of camping that’s increasingly hard to find.

Facilities are simple but well maintained, with clean toilets and hot showers providing the essentials without taking away from the site’s low-key feel. Campfires are welcome, dogs are free to join, and children have space to roam and explore.

The location makes it easy to enjoy both coast and countryside. Milford-on-Sea is within walking distance for pubs, shops and sea views, while the New Forest National Park offers miles of walking, cycling and wildlife just minutes away.

With a loyal following of returning guests and a genuinely easy going feel, Muddycreek Farm offers the rare chance to slow down, spread out and enjoy camping the way it used to be.
